Visitors do not need to be familiar with how the equipment works to use the Digitization Lab. While the lab is self-service, library staff are always available to help with set up or demonstrate how the equipment works once visitors arrive. Please keep in mind that most devices work in real time. This means a two-hour video will take two hours to digitize. Because of this, be sure to allot plenty of time to complete your project.
This service is intended to help with the reproduction of family videos, photos, and audio recordings and cannot be used to duplicate copyrighted items. While no appointment is necessary to use the equipment, patrons are encouraged to call ahead to ensure the device they need will be available when they arrive.
